General Species Information

Host Plant:  cattail (Typha spp.), smartweed (Polygonum spp.), grasses, sedges, poplar, willow. Host unknown in the Keys

Historical Range: Entire USA, Canada and Cuba 

Our Experience with this Species: We have found a few specimens of this pecies on Key Largo in February
