General Species Information

Host Plant: Larvae feed on pea family plants (Fabaceae), including alfalfa, soybeans, velvetbeans; Host unknown in the Keys

Historical Range: Eastern USA and the Caribbean 

Our Experience with this Species: This species is somewhat common on Key Largo in the winter months. Jim Troubridge reports them from Bahia Honda Key as well. 

Notes: This species is highly variable
