Host Plant: potato, tomato, tobacco (Nightshade family--Solanaceae), Host unknown in the Keys

Historical Range: Most of the USA, Central and South America

Our Experience with this Species: This species has been found in the following months in the Keys; Feb, May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Nov. We have found it on Key Largo, Bahia Honda, Big Pine Key and No Name Key

Notes: This species is a pest to tomato and tabacco gardners as larvae can quickly defoliate large plants.
