General Species Information
Host Plant: Larva burrows into the new growth stems of Ficus species and pupates inside the stem covered by a housing created by leaves.
Historical Range: South Florida
Our Experience with this Species: This species can be abundant and is found commonly in the upper Keys. It seems to be replaced in the lower Keys by the similar species T. iocyaneus
Notes: This is a diurnal species that is commonly found at a wide variety of flowers but also frequents lights at night
